When my 3 kids were young I’d take them for walks at Willowwood Arboretum in Far Hills, New Jersey. We’d stroll along woodland paths, look for frogs in the brook, and try to name plants in the cultivated gardens.
Named to honor this magical place, the Willowwood Cowl features bold bands of color separated by a slipped stitch pattern of whimsical flowers.

Slipped stitch patterns, often called mosaic knitting, are deceptively easy to knit. Only one color is used at a time so there is no need to manage multiple yarns in a single round.
