Wingbat
I designed the Wingbat shawlette using 100g of Mini Mochi, but any other yarn with a color gradient will be suitable. You can choose any yarn weight you like, but remember that you might need more yarn when using anything thicker than fingering. You can also make a bigger shawlette by using as much yarn as you like.
The Wingbat shawlette is a modular knit, but there is no seaming involved as the modules are joined as you go. You will find photo tutorials together with instructions on how to do this at the end of the pattern.
For your convenience there is a written and a charted version, but you will also find instructions based on the principle. It is quite the no-brainer. You probably won’t need the pattern anymore after knitting the first couple of modules, but in case you feel safer having them at your disposal I included the instructions of all modules.
The Wingbat shawlette is a reversible knit. I created a way to join the modules that even the seams look the same on both sides.
I hope you enjoy this pattern.
Happy knitting
