This design and the Summmer Berries Shawl show how two different looks can be achieved from the same stitch pattern by simply adjusting needle size and adding or omitting beads.

The scarf’s rich, jewel like colourway is dotted with bronze beads which make a feature of the scarf’s central spine, and then finished with a sweet picot cast off. Knitted flat in rows this design begins on straight needles but you’ll probably find it necessary to transfer to the circular needle as the work becomes wider.

This pattern is from the Collection One book of accessories which is available either as an e-book here or as an individual PDF with instructions for both the scarf and shawl
