Since double knitting and brioche are such close neighbors I thought it would be nice to combine them. The stem of Winter Birch is double knit and its leaves are brioche.

I used one skein of Mint for the light color and one skein of Weathered Green for the dark. This yarn has a very dusty look and feel, wonderful for this scarf.

Errata: the needle size stated in the book is US 3 (3.5mm) it should read US 4 (3.5mm). Sorry!
Also, you will notice that the chart on page 79, very top row, is missing the sl1yo symbols, instead you see blank grid boxes. Be sure and sl1yo those stitches.
