Winter Briar
Winter has set in, and the first frosts have arrived. Food is scarce, so birds turn to the briar, where rose hips have been sugared with frost and the last of the blackberries hide amidst purple winter leaves.
The Winter Briar shawl is crescent shaped and worked from the top down. The body features a lattice-like lace pattern, and the border is created by a knitted-on cable bind-off. It is easily adapted to a range of yarn weights and sizes - a guide to customization is included to aid knitters with adaptions.
The sample shawl is a size medium, and was knit with Crooked Kitchen Yarn’s Mericash Sport in the Rosewood colourway.
