The beautiful pattern stitch uses twisted stitches, cables and lace. Although the directions for the entire pattern are written, the center panel stitch is given in charts only (no written equivalent). The raglan sleeves are done with full fashioning (makes “ribs” at the raglan lines).

The raglan shaping stops before the natural neckline, and changes to a 2 1/2” ribbed neckband/yoke. You can adjust the fit around the neck by changing the tension on your bind off row. So if you prefer, bind off loosely and you will get a wider neck than shown here.
