You can’t get much more classic than these simple cabled mittens. They’re the perfect accessory for cool evenings, whether you’re roasting marshmallows and sipping hot chocolate, caroling throughout the neighborhood or rooting for your favorite sports team. Slip them on and gain some winter cheer.

Pattern includes instructions for both full mittens and fingerless mitts, as well as notes for customizing the size.

Yarn - 175 yards/160 meters worsted-weight yarn.
Gauge - 20 stitches = 4”/10 cm in stockinette stitch, after blocking.
Needles - US #6/4mm (or size to get gauge) for working in the round (either double points, or two circulars, or one long circular for magic loop)
Notions - Tapestry needle, stitch markers (one of which is unique), cable needle.
Skill level - Advanced beginner (cables, knitting in the round).
Size/Finished measurements - Women’s Medium. Finished hand circumference of 7.5”/19 cm. Measured after blocking.
