Winters Dancers is a Mosaic Stitch patterning hat with a cable detail to add textural interest. The pattern repeats itself as it goes around the hat and up the hat.

The hat is itself is a little slouchy with a slightly flattened crown.

Mosaic Stitch Colour Work – a method of working a colour pattern without carrying colours across the back of the knitting. Each row of finished sts in a single colour takes two passes across the needle. The pattern can be worked in stockinet or garter st – our pieces have been worked in garter st.

Because of the complexity of the patterning there is only one size offered. Sizing can be changed by using larger needles to create a looser gauge.
