Inspired by rings around the moon, the lace work and shaping represents craters and noticeable shapes and shadows on the moon’s surface.
Winter Halo is a Hap style shawl, full of fun techniques including lace work, short rows and a delicate picot edging. Using one colour Merino Singles Lace weight as a base yarn, you can use up scraps of Mohair Silks to strand with it for colour blocking. These two yarns together create a beautifully soft and ethereal shawl, which will keep you cosy through the winter’s moonlit evenings.
