This hat was inspired entirely by the yarn. The new yarn Canoe from Sugar Bush yarns has an intriguing texture. I thought it would work well as a simple beanie using a solid chunky weight yarn to compliment it for the brim, a stripe and the top of the hat, as well as the pompom. This hat works well for men or women.
