Winter in Prospect Park
Who doesn’t love a pair of mitts with nice long cuffs? They look great and are practical as they avoid that chilly gap between coat and cuff. This unisex pair uses a crisp stranded colorwork design to add extra knitting fun. They’d make a lovely holiday gift, and are simple enough that you may even have time to make a second pair for yourself. Try bold contrasting colors like those in the sample, or a more subtle tonal combo for a softer look. You should have plenty of the recommended yarn for two pairs. Try reversing the colors for the second pair.**
Yardage requirement:
Color A: Bare Naked Wools Festivus 5.0 Sport, 100% Targhee, 375 yards (343 m) per 4 oz (115g) skein. Color: Cardinal
Color B: Bare Naked Wools Chebris Sport, 60% Fine Wool / 40% Yearling Mohair Wool, 375 yards (343 m)
per 4 oz (115g) skein. Color: Soufflé
1 skein each of Color A and Color B will make two pair; try reversing the colors for a second pair!
