Winter Josie Doll
This pattern has been discontinued whilst I update the doll pattern. I’m working as fast as I can , however it may take a while.
Josie is wearing her new winter dress- she loves the snowflake detail on the bodice and around the hem, and her snow-white raglan sleeve sweater keeps her snug and warm.
Clothes
Her dress is fastened with two back buttons, and the bodice is edged with garter stitch.
Her red Mary-Jane shoes with pearly buttons finish her winter outfit
This winter set of clothes is easily knitted flat on straight needles and uses minimal shaping.
The white motifs are worked from charts- alternatively they could easily be added using the Swiss darning technique.
Doll
Josie is knitted with head, body, legs and feet worked as one piece, there is a centre back seam from the crown of her head to the start of her legs. Josie’s legs have a seam on the inner side and her feet have a seam along the middle of the sole. Her arms and hands are knitted as one piece and sewn into place after stuffing.
