What makes the Winter Market Mitts the most delightful fingerless glove pattern since sliced bread? I’m so glad you asked!
- They are just the right size to keep your hands cozy while still letting you use your fingers
- They are perfect for people of all genders
- They knit up fast, and
- You can make them from just about any yarn in your stash! The pattern includes instructions for making them from fingering, DK, worsted and bulky weight yarns.
Winter Market Mitts are knit in the round from the cuff up. There’s a thumb gusset for a super comfy fit, and 1x1 ribbing at the cuffs and top. The pattern is simple and beginner-friendly.
Sizes: 1 (2, 3); approx 6 (7, 8)”/15 (17.5, 20) cm around the palm and 6.5”/16cm tall. The fit is best with zero or negative ease.
Yarn: Sock, DK, worsted or bulky weight yarn, approx 120 (140, 160); 110 (125, 145); 90 (110, 125); 70 (85, 95) yards.
Gauge (all stated gauges for 4”/10cm in stockinette): 32sts & 38 rounds, 26sts & 32 rounds, 20sts & 26 rounds, 14sts & 20 rounds.
