Winter Tracks is an intermediate to advanced level pattern, using puff sts, post sts and an unusual construction method…although instructions for all are available on You Tube and there are some links to tutorials in the pattern.
This hat is modelled on the old train driver’s hat. It brings back the fantasy of childhood while still being chic and stylish.
Made in a tweedy yarn with high wool content to give some structure, it is suitable to wear on casual weekends or with jeans on city streets.

Winter Tracks comes in the following sizes…
Actual size (to fit head approx. 1 - 2”/3-5cm larger)
Extra small (XS): 18” - 46cm
Small (S): 20” - 51cm
Medium (M): 22” - 56cm
Large (L): 24” - 61cm

It uses 250 - 325yds of Worsted weight yarn.
