Have you ever crocheted yourself a pair of slippers in a fingering weight yarn? No? They may just be the most heavenly pair of slippers you ever make yourself and they work up much more quickly than you may think.

Yarn
Using less than one hank (438 yards) of fingering weight yarn you can make even the largest size slippers. The yarn used in the sample shown is Less Traveled Yarn’s Tweed Me in the color Merlot. This yarn is simply gorgeous!!!

Double Sole Construction
This slipper is constructed with a double sole, but if you can use only one sole if you prefer, without having to alter the pattern.
