The patterns are designed around 2 granny squares which I have adapted to incorporate moss/linen stitch and the border reflects these stitches.

The scarf is trimmed with either large pom poms, a fringe or large tassels. The finished size is approximately 17cm x 200cm (excluding trim).

The Mitts fit a medium sized adult hand, (adjust to fit adult hand sizes by changing hook size)

The patterns contain written instructions in UK Terms, Crochet Charts and Round by Round colour photographs and further photographs (with instructions for left handers where these differ).

Basic stitches and skills used in these patterns (UK Terms) are: slip stitch, double crochet, treble crochet, multiple stitches in the same stitch, skipping stitches (plus post stitches in the mitts pattern).

You will need 4 shades of DK yarn to make both patterns - around 100g of each shade (depending on yarn chosen), with a little left over.
