As wind-blown raindrops turn to snowflakes, bursts of color from winter blooms surround us. This crescent shaped shawl uses garter stitch, as well as patterned stockinette stitch, to take you through a walk in the winter woods in the Pacific NW.

3 skeins Blue Moon Fiber Arts Soft Rock (100% Superwash Merino; 113 grams/500 yards); 3 different colors, 1 skein each. I used the following colors and amounts for the sample:
A - Lunacy, 255 yards
B - Oola Pikka, 100 yards
C - Support Your Local Yarn Store, 185 yards

Finished Measurement - 68” (173cm) Wingspan x 16” (40cm) Center Depth after blocking.

Winter Woods was painted by my very talented husband, Bradley Clark, and it was the inspiration for my design!
