Winterberry socks were inspired by not just the yarn from the lovely Three Sister’s Fiber Co. but also because of how they can bring a little hope in a time of sorrow. They are done in 2 different colors of the Jetty sock base and are OOAK (One of A Kind) colors that do not have a name. You will need a mini skein for the toe, heel and cuff and at least 200-300 yards for the body.

You can now buy Winterberry in US and UK Terms!

This is a cabled crochet sock and it includes photos of 2 different ideas for the sock as well as a close up of the cable design so that you may be able to see the beauty of it in all its glory!

The gauge for this pattern is 8 sts=1” or 2.25 cm and the materials you will need are:

  • B/1 (2.25 mm) hook
  • C/2 (2.75 mm) hook if you crochet tight
  • Stitch marker
  • Darning Needle for weaving in ends

This is more of a ankle sock and is perfect to customize. You can also find in this pattern sizing for shoes and how many inches you will need to do per foot allowing this to be a perfect gift to give!

The first photo is from Rachel at Three Sisters Fiber Co and the others after the second one are from Ginny! I wanted to give them credit for their photos so that y’all can actually appreciate the pattern and I can’t thank my testers enough!

I hope you enjoy this beautiful pattern as much as I loved creating it!
