WinterBloom
The design:
WinterBloom is a lace centre out motif featuring a join as you go (JAYG) construction. It is a 9 round block. WinterBloom is an easy- intermediate level pattern that even a confident crocheter would enjoy. It is perfect for all yarn weights and looks amazing made from a gradient cake. I do recommend a plied gradient, Cotton King twister, Cotton King twirl or Scheepjes whirl for example, a stranded cake like a Lola will need a lot of extra care when doing the puffs.
WinterBloom is an easy/intermediate level pattern.
Materials needed:
WinterBloom was designed to make a project using any weight of yarn The finished size of the sample block is approximately 18cm using 50m of Cotton King Twirl Deluxe and a 3.5mm hook. Your block size will vary due to crochet style differences.
Stitch markers.
Wool/darning needle.
Recommended Hook size:
3-3.5 mm for 4ply
3.5-4 mm for 8ply
4-4.5mm for 10ply
6-6.5 mm for 12 ply.
Or hook appropriate for your chosen yarn weight
