This open-front cardigan is worked seamlessly from the top down, starting with the back collar extensions. Stitches are picked up for the upper back, and increases shape the back shoulders. Then stitches are picked up along each side of the back to work over the top of the shoulders. Fronts and back are then joined along with stitches picked up for the sleeves, and the yoke is shaped with increases down to the separation of the body and sleeves.
The body includes subtle A-line shaping, which can omitted if you prefer to work the body straight. Sleeves are worked in the round, and no additional finishing is required after weaving in the ends! Cuffs and hem are edged with a half twisted ribbing (no purling through the back loop).
