Wintercloud is a slightly asymmetric shawl. It’s worked from bottom up, alternating Garter stitch and Lace sections. Garter stitch sections are shaped with short rows to give the shawl its unique look.

size 6 US / 4 mm circular needle for Garter stitch sections

GAUGE
20 sts and 42 rows in Garter stitch using larger needles = 4” / 10 cm after blocking.
Gauge is not crucial for this project but will affect the amount of yarn used and the final size of the shawl.
