Wish Upon a Star
A Haberdash Couture QUICKIE by Aruna Neela!
Here’s a quick and easy star you can make for any holiday or celebration. It’s made from A SIMPLE KNITTED SQUARE that is cleverly folded to create a beautiful star. Leave it to Haberdash Couture to combine origami + knitting! :)
NO SHAPING, NO INCREASING, NO DECREASING, NO SEWING REQUIRED!
This project is so easy, even the kids will love to make some to decorate the Christmas tree or for their birthdays! And because it’s a cinch to make up, it makes the perfect weekend project.
Use ANY YARN you love. An average 50g ball of yarn can make two stars depending on how big you make your square. Experiment with yarns that already have sequins in them for instant glam! (The sequined white star in the photos used King Cole Galaxy Chunky)
Make garlands, adorn sweaters and dresses, add to napkin ring holders, use as a gift topper, Xmas tree ornaments….the possibilities are endless!
Perfect for beginners! Made with only STOCKING STITCH.
Now…make your wish!
