The Wisps and Whisper Socks feature a simple lace texture down the front. This pattern repeat is short and sweet, and sure to make your socks fly off the needles.

Pattern includes 3 sizes as well as instructions on how to knit the socks both cuff down and toe up. Whichever way of knitting socks you prefer, the Wisps and Whisper Socks can be done either way!

These socks also include the Short Cut Heel, a heel construction that requires no short rows! Stockinette stitch and garter stitch heels can be done with this heel construction.

No matter the options you choose, these comfy DK socks will be a pleasure to knit as well as wear.

Pattern Notes:

Yarn: DK yarn weighing approximately 60 (80, 100) grams will be needed. Amount may vary depending on leg length/foot size. Sample was knit with Baby Bee Sweet Delight (60% acrylic, 40% polyamide; 115 grams per 377 yards) in the Ballerina Slipper color way.

Gauge: 26 stitches X 36 Rounds over 4 inches / 10 centimeters in stockinette stitch.

Needles: 32 inch circular U.S 5 / 3.75 mm needle for Magic Loop. May vary depending on Gauge.

Sizes: Finished socks measure approximately 6.5 (7, 8) inches in circumference. Use foot/shoe charts on Page 7 to help determine foot length.
