Wizard of OZ CAL
The Wizard of OZ, the stories by Frank L. Baum are as enduring now as they were 150 years ago when they were 1st published.
I have wanted to pay homage for such a long time, and yet still stay true to the original stories.
Sizes/Dimensions:
All the dolls stand between 25 and 30cm/10 – 12” tall apart from Toto who is 13cm/5” tall.
The road is approximately 50cm/20” square when folded (1.2 metres/48” flat, and is joined down the sides using either press studs or Velcro for smaller children.
The Emerald City has been created as a screen but you can (if you wish) attach more panels and a small clasp and turn it into an enclosure instead. The inside is grey as per the story.
Details:
Where possible the doll’s limbs are integrated and parts are crocheted directly onto the doll to minimize sewing.
There are also very detailed instructions given for all the sewn sections, meaning that it is simpler to replicate to a degree of accuracy.
I hope you enjoy making all the individual characters as mush as I did as much as I did:
There are 11 individual designs within this set.
Dorothy, Toto, Glinda the Good Witch, Wicked Witch of the West, The Scarecrow, The Lion, The Tin Man, Showman OZ (the original wizard), OZ (the wizard of), The Yellow Brick Road Cushion and the Emerald City.

PLEASE NOTE: FROM 31 OCTOBER 2023 I WILL BE REMOVING ALL THE SEPARATE PARTS.
