Womens Cable Pullover
The knitting pattern for this smart cable pullover with a flattering square neckline was first printed in the 11 May 1940 issue of Woman’s Weekly.
The original instructions say; Worked at a tension of 7 sts to the inch in width with No.10 pins, the measurements on the diagram are attained after light pressing.
Measurements:
Actual measurements 81cm/ 32in
Length to back neck 51cm/ 20in
Sleeve seam All sizes 48cm/ 19in
Materials Needed:
7 ounces (199g) of Dewhurst's Tuffle Yarn (neither wool nor silk but ideal for summer wear) (Yarn information)
A pair of each No.8 and No.12 Phantom knitting pins
A short cable pin
