Welcome! And thank you for having a look at my new pattern Wonderland Scarf!

This offer is also valid on both the Toe Up and Cuff Down versions of the Wonderland Socks and the sale goes until end of day Oct 31, 2025.

This pattern has been created as a way to use the leftovers of a 13 mini skein countdown box. As we are within the reveal window for the Alice in Wonderland Countdown Box from Fantasy Fibers Yarn Co, all photos will be in black and white until Oct 31, 2025. I will then post full colour pictures! If you want sneak peaks along the way, pop by my instagram for colour reveals between now and Halloween!

I love a good stash busting pattern and you can knit matching socks and a scarf with no leftovers with these patterns!! So raid your leftovers, scraps and partial skeins! Break out that countdown box you didn’t know what to do with! And have fun creating your own colour story!

This Scarf is knit from side to side and is an elongated triangle. We use an I-Cord cast on, and work the scarf flat, increasing evenly to the center point. We then decrease evenly to the other end, and finish with an I-Cord BO. I utilize the magic knot join, picture tutorial included in pattern, to join the yarns as you go, thus ensuring every bit is used, and there are no ends to weave in later!

Size can be adjusted larger or smaller, based on how much yarn you wish to use up!

Skills Used
I-cord cast on, knit, purl, slipping stitches, working flat, working with multiple colours, increasing /decreasing, magic knot join, Kitchener stitch.

Materials:
Sample Yarn Used:
Alice in Wonderland: 13 Nights of Halloween Countdown Box, Fantasy Fibers Yarn Co, Enemies to Lovers Fingering 4-ply, 85/15 SW Extrafine Merino/Nylon, 87 yds/0.7 oz, 80 m/20 g.

Designer’s Note: Sample uses 13 colours from the countdown box. I had approximately 14g of each colour left after knitting the Wonderland Socks. I held each colour double to get a DK weight yarn, and joined each colour as the previous ran out, with the magic knot join. The scarf can also be knit using a single strand of DK weight yarn. Experiment with fades, stripes or a single colour. This pattern is a great way to use up leftovers!

Approx. Yardage: 792 yds/724 m total (62 yds/57 m per colour) of fingering weight yarn held double OR 396 yds/362 m total (31 yds/29 m per colour) of DK weight yarn held single.

Needles & Notions:
• 5 mm/US 8, 60 cm/24” circular needles or needle size required to match gauge;
• Blocking pins;
• Darning needle

Gauge: In pattern, 24 sts & 30 rows = 10 cm/4”, knit flat, before blocking.

Measurements:
The scarf, based off the yardages given above, and after blocking, is 70”/178 cm long from end to end, 3”/7.6 cm wide at the ends, and 8.5”/21.6 cm wide in the center.
