The Wood Anemone pullover features a floral inspired lace stitch pattern that spreads and grows over the whole yoke. The pattern was inspired by the little white wood anemones that filled the woods near my home in May when the rest of nature was still just barely woken after the long winter.

The Wood Anemone pullover is knitted seamlessly top-down starting at the neckband. A beautiful lace pattern is worked on the yoke (with optional bobbles that you can leave out if bobbles aren’t your thing). The sleeves and body are separated at the underarm and knitted separately. The back is shaped with short-rows to give it a bit more length and to improve the fit. The body is slightly cropped so it’s perfect to pair with a dress, a skirt or a pair of high waisted pants, but the length is easily modified for a longer fit. Note that changing the length of the body will affect the amount of yarn needed to finish the pullover, so if you want a longer body, make sure you get a few extra balls of yarn.
