Finished Size: Fairy, 7.5cm when sitting, Mushroom, large; 8cm x 9cm diameter, small; 7cm x 5.5cm diameter
All components are knitted flat and sewn together at the end, eliminating the need for circular knitting. To maintain the shape, the fairy’s legs are filled with cotton swabs, while the mushrooms are weighted down (you can use dried beans or coins for this). Feel free to skip this step if you prefer. The body and head are knitted as one piece, while the other elements are created separately. For the eyes, you can use mushroom-shaped beads sewn onto the head or choose to embroider them if you like.
The essential knitting techniques needed are the basic knit and purl stitches; however, be careful during assembly. Some prior experience in doll-making is recommended.
