Woodland Lace Stole
A holiday issue of Interweave Knits would not be complete without Shetland lace. The Woodland Lace Stole is constructed seamlessly in sections modeled after traditional Shetland-shawl schematics. The body of the shawl begins with a provisional cast-on, which encompasses the central panel and a border panel; the second border is worked in the opposite direction from the cast-on edge. The shawl is finished with a knitted-on edging.
