The Woodland Pine Cowl was designed to coordinate with my previously published Woodland Pine Hat, which was one of my first published patterns. I designed the tree cable just for fun when I first started designing just to see if I could make it work. I tried putting it on a hat and I loved it and wanted to write the pattern for a matching cowl but got distracted with other design ideas, until now.

This cowl was inspired by the beautiful scenery that surrounds me. The tree cable is the central motif, and creates a gorgeous cozy cowl, perfect for the chilly months ahead. It is worked in the round and the pattern includes both charted and written directions. It would make a great last minute holiday gift!
