The shell design mimics the design of a turtle shell. You can make so many fun turtles in may different colors. Using 100% cotton or wool is ideal for this type of project. This potholder is double sided for a plain or color look. Ideally, potholders should be double sided for a higher quality product.

**For any item that will come into contact with extreme heat or cold temperatures, use cotton or wool yarn. Acrylic yarn will melt under extreme heat and will not absorb as well as cotton or wool.**
