The saddle shoulder of this sweater is knit in a meandering lace pattern that carries down the three-quarter-length sleeve. This lace pattern reminds me of the mesmerizing beauty of smoke rising from a fire, and then paired with Brooklyn Tweed ‘s lovely Loft yarn in the pinki-ish-smoky colour of Postcard, the sweater named itself Woodsmoke. The pullover design includes a placket at the neckline and is worked from the top down, so it requires no seaming.
