Sizes: Small (medium, large) to fit a 6 (7, 8) - inch hand circumference measured across the knuckles at the base of the fingers.

Sizing Notes: I made the size medium and they fit comfortably. My medium-size mittens are 10-inches in length from the edge of the cuff to the top of the hand. The hand of the mitten can run a little big in width due to the loop stitch. This has been taken into consideration in the pattern but just be aware. Lengths can always be altered as desired.

Yarn: Wisconsin Woolen Spun Worsted Weight by Barrett Wool Co., 100% American wool (250 yards / 100 grams), 2 skeins in the Birch colorway.

Each Wooly Sheep Mitten weighs approximately 57 grams for the medium size.

Important Yarn Note: A rustic wooly woolen spun yarn is suggested for this pattern. A slick super wash yarn, or a slippery yarn without grip will not work.

Needles: US size 6 / 4.0 mm set of double-pointed needles OR size to obtain gauge

Gauge: 5.5 stitches per inch in stockinette stitch
