Woven Stitch Slouch Hat
This is a colorwork pattern that looks much more difficult than it is.
It’s a great stash hat. I chose to use three colors for the model but you could use as many as you like. I also chose a soft yarn because the woven stitch is a dense stitch and I wanted the hat to have a nice “slouch” to it. This is also why the pattern calls for size 8 needles for a DK weight yarn.
It is a one-size-fits-most adult hat. The band with rib relaxed measures 17”. The body of the hat in woven stitch measures 24” around.
The yardage listed is a total for the whole hat. The breakdown for three colors is: Main Color - 70 yards, Color A - 80 yards and Color B - 75 yards.
