This cabled knit Wrap has the unique distinction to become a shrug, too! Wear it loosely around your shoulders as a wrap, or button up the edges to form long sleeves and wear as a shrug. Either way, you are covered! This knit Wrap uses the Reverse Stockinette Stitch and features a cable called Twists; Twists cables are worked with a purl stitch and three knit stitches. This project uses six balls of medium weight yarn (each ball is 1.75 oz., 128 yards 50 grams, 117meters), straight knitting needles in Size 9 5.5 mm, with additional supplies listed as a cable needle, ten 0.875” 22 mm buttons, sewing needle and matching thread. The finished size is 18” x 60” 45.5 cm x 152.5 cm. The suggested skill level to complete this project is rated as intermediate.
