There is an extra dec mistakenly given on row 1 of Right Sleeve raglan shaping - the row should read
Row 1 (RS) K to last 5 sts, skpo, K3.

*Great news!** April 2021** - I’ve added some extra sizes which are in a separate pattern. You will be able to buy either pattern at checkout - check that you select the correct size.
So the first pattern is for bust sizes 32 - 42ins/81.5-106.5cm. The yardage for 2 ends Rowan Fine Lace worked together is 2000 - 2800m. See note below re a 4ply yarn.
The second pattern is for sizes 44-52ins/112-132cm. The yardage is 2800 - 3600m
Both patterns have charts for optional lace panels (see image of red garment).

Update April 2019 Single pattern available. I’ve re-knitted the cardi using a bright red Rowan Finest (sadly now discontinued), adding a lace panel at the back and on the sleeves (see photos to left) The pattern has been revised to include charts for these. Size 34ins took 290g Finest (1140m)- Merino Superwash Wool (50%),Alpaca (30%),Cashmere (20%)

Inspired by the 18th century short jacket, this classic wrap cardigan is cropped, and would look great worn over an Empire line, high-waisted dress, or as part of a layered outfit.
Knitted in a beautiful, soft alpaca mix yarn, it is a modern twist on the classic ballet-wrap.

There is now a Ravelry group for A Handknit Romance.

Two ends of lace yarn used together, or 4ply one end can be used.
