This sleeveless V-neck tank worked seamlessly from the top down, combining smooth stockinette fabric with structured crosses-and-rounds texture at the neckline and hem.
The V-neck shaping is clean and flattering, while the hem detail transitions smoothly from crosses into 2x2 rib, grounding the silhouette and adding polish. The top is designed to be worn with about +5 cm of ease, making it comfortable, modern, and easy to layer — over a shirt, a tee, or on its own in warmer weather.
This is a relaxing and rewarding knit, ideal for confident beginners to intermediate knitters looking for a timeless staple with subtle graphic interest.

CONSTRUCTION NOTE
This tank is worked seamlessly from the top down in one piece.
The yoke is worked flat, with shoulder increases and V-neck shaping. Once shoulder shaping is complete, stitches are divided into front and back sections, each worked separately down to the underarm while continuing the neckline shaping. At the same time, the armhole edges are worked with an integrated I-cord, creating a clean rolled edge and minimizing the finishing.
At the underarm, the front and back are joined, and the body is worked flat in one piece to the hem. The hem features a crosses textured border that transitions smoothly into 2x2 ribbing for a polished finish.
The same crosses-and-rounds motif is also worked along the neckline, picked up and knit for a clean, integrated look.
