Yadkin, an elongated semi-circular shawl, is worked from neck edge to bottom, then the edging is added along the outer arch. The final trim is worked along the sides of the edging and across the beginning chain.

Finished Size: 58” wide x 15½“ long at center
(147.5 cm x 39.5 cm)

Gauge is not critical for this design, however yarn amounts listed are only guaranteed if worked to the specified gauge.

Materials: Fingering (sock) weight yarn -- 630 yards (575 meters). Model was stitched in Wollmeise Pure. 
Any fingering weight yarn can be substituted. For 2-color shawl, allow 440 yards (400 m) for body and 190 yards (175 m) for edging.
