Yalinka Lace Shawl
Abeto… Abete… Sapin… Tannenbaum… Yolka… Yalinka… Shopping for a Christmas tree? Looking for a perfect one?
How about putting one on your shoulders…? Soft, airy and luscious. It’s already “pre-lit” and “decorated” with garlands, and can be made in any size. You can add nupps or beads.
Yalinka is top-down crescent shawl. Stockinette part with “twinke lights” worked first, then lace part with “garlands and ornaments”, which available in two sizes.
Yardage for the project will depend on how many repeats of the stockinette part is knitted, then which size chosen for the lace part, nupps vs. beads
Shawl can be worked from written instructions or charts. Optional beading chart is also available(provided by stormyk9)
