Yuletide Christmas Cracker
Knit your own Christmas crackers that actually crack! These striped knitted Christmas crackers are knit in halves so you can add cracker snaps in between the halves and pop them open just like a traditional cracker. Knit a “paper” crown to go inside along with some jokes and trinkets and these crackers are sure to be a hit at any holiday party.

Pattern Notes
This pattern is knit in the round in halves. Each half is knit from the outside in with a picot hem, stripes, and i-cord ribbons to cinch the ends. The knitted pieces are sewn around cardboard tubes, which are then assembled into crackers with cracker snaps and various fillings. (See www.juliettepecautdesigns.com/products/yuletide-paper-crown-knitting-pattern for a “Paper” Crown knitting pattern to go in your cracker.)
