“Zakkuri remix” is a reworking of Zakkuri to be knit with various weight yarns. They are worked from toe-up with heel flap and gusset. It is a quick and easy one-skein project with Worsted-DK weight yarn for adult. You can make a child’s size in Sport or Fingering weight. Choose your size based on your foot circumference. Directions are written for the magic loop method with circular needles. Video tutorial links are included.

The pattern includes options of;
Type A: Cable pattern on both sides of the leg
Type B: Cable pattern on one side of the front of the sock
Type C: Cable pattern on leg and rib on foot (available for size 2 only)
Type D: Simple rib socks without cables


YARN
90-100 g of DK - Worsted weight for adult size
20-60 g of Fingering - Sport weight for child size

SIZES
Size 1 (2) / 42 (45) sts in the foot

Finished foot length: adjustable
Finished foot circumference: The size can be customized with varying gauges. A table of the finished measurements of foot circumference by gauge is included in the pattern.

NEEDLES
US 3 / 3.25 mm circular needle for adult sizes
US 1 / 2.25 mm circular needle for child sizes
For Type C only: Circular needle one size larger than main needle
Adjust needle size to obtain gauge. Sample used 80 cm / 32” circular needle.
