Zarena
The ZARENA hat pattern is first of all a simple knit-one-purl-one pattern, which will perfectly fit around your hat. Stripes with slipped stitches were knit in between, probably you will need cable needles to knit these rounds .
It was stunning, how the combination of simple pattern stripes came out. It looks quite sophisticated and complex, in reality the pattern stripes are easy enough for beginners and young knitters. Use light neutral colors, tonal/ solid or variegated / gradient. The pattern is so addictive, I could not resist to knit three hats in one go!
If you are using hand-painted yarn - the irregular painterly quality of the yarn lends itself beautifully to this pattern, adding depth and dimension to the knitted fabric. Wear the ZARENA hat for a female accessory!
The pattern is worked in the round from the bottom up. Directions are given for one size, only by changing needle size and gauge you can knit a smaller or larger size.
