This pattern is available for €4.00.

These fingerless mitts are a mostly plain stockinette/jersey pattern with garter rounds, knitted from the bottom-up.

This pattern includes a ladder or zebra crossing on the outer side on each mitt, and is knitted in at least 2 contrasting colours.
This pattern is perfect for using those leftover fingering weight yarns we all have stashed away after knitting socks, sweater or shawls. It will look great with a short gradient yarn for the background colour of the zebra crossing. However the pattern will look great with any contrasting yarn.

Feel free to play with your leftovers ;)

If you don’t like wearing a folded brim, you will find another brim to work instead at the end of the pattern.

You can adapt the length of the pattern to your needs.
It is
written in 5 sizes. You can easily adapt the width.
XS: 16,5 cm/61/2“
S: 17,9 cm/7“
M: 19,3 cm/75/8“
L: 20,7 cm/81/4“
XL: 22,1 cm/83/4“

You will need approx. 25 to 50 g of fingering weight yarn for MC depending the size and the length.
For CC, you will need approx. 12 to 20 g, depending the size, the length and if you are using one yarn or 3 as I have done in my sample in size XL.

Needles: 3.0 mm/ US 2½ or needles size to obtain gauge. Stitch gauge is important otherwise your mitts might be too loose or too tight.

Notions: spare circular needles or waste yarn for holding stitches (thick cotton yarn in another colour works great!), 2 stitch markers, darning needle

Skills: Working in the round with circular needles (magic loop), working intarsia, picking up stitches, decreases (1 and 2 stitches)
