Construction

Zephyr Tee is a drop shoulder sweater worked from the top down. The back of the sweater is cast on at the shoulders. Left and right front shoulders are picked up from the cast on edge and worked flat with shaping for the neckline. Sweater front and back are worked flat with shaping to the sleeve depth and then the body is joined to work in the round. Sleeves are picked up and knit downward. Two neckband variations, folded or flat, are provided; both neckband options as well as the sleeve cuffs are worked in 3x1 rib. The body is finished with a 3x1 rib split hem.

Selecting a Size

Zephyr Tee is intended to be worn with 4–8” / 10–20.5 cm of positive ease. Select a size 4–8” / 10–20.5 cm larger than your chest circumference. Measurements below are for the finished sweater after blocking. For both samples, Samantha wears size 5 with a folded neckband and +7” / +18 cm of positive ease; she is 5’6” / 167.5 cm tall.
