Zephyrus Wrap is a large rectangular wrap that can be styled around the shoulders as a shawl or wrapped multiple times around the neck and worn as a scarf or cowl. The Zephyrus Wrap is named for a deity of the gentle summer winds, we think it can be worn by goddesses and gods alike. It is knitted flat with two yarns held together resulting in fabric as light as a cloud, with a beautiful drape. The textured pattern is a simple knit and purl repeat based on the Block Stitch by Barbara Walker, it is the same on the front and back sides and easy to memorize, allowing you to read your knitting for meditative handwork and making a reversible wrap. We love it styled with removable stud buttons by JulDesigns.

The design and pattern is a mother-daughter collaboration, all proceeds from the pattern will be donated to Carbon180.org.

Yarn: Seven Sisters Arts Astrid fingering; 2 skeins, 70% superwash merino/30% silk, 438 yds/100g/skein
Seven Sisters Arts Celaeno lace; 2 skeins, 72% mohair/28% silk, 459 yds/50g/skein. Sample made with Astrid Corvus and Celaeno Raven.

Closures: JulDesigns removable stud button sets

Yardage: Astrid 800 yds, Celaeno 860 yds. Yarns held together while knitting throughout uses a bit more yardage of Celaeno because it has no elasticity.

Gauge: 15 sts x 19 rows = 4” in the block stitch pattern after blocking. Gauge is not critical but will affect the yardage used and the finished size.

Size: One size.

Measurements: 22” wide x 77” long after blocking.

Notions: 2 stitch markers.

Needles: US size 10.5/6.5mm for working flat. Needles with a sharp tip are suggested for working with two strands.

Skills required: cast on, knit, purl, bind off.
