Zig Zag Cowl
I designed these patterns for the Erika Knight yarn collection in 2012. Erika liked my Zig Zag hat and asked me if I would like to design a matching cowl and mittens to help promote the yarn and the pattern was first released in print in the US, UK and Europe.
The yarn is super smooshy and warm and lends itself well to the Zigzag pattern.
This 2022 update of the pattern includes instructions to knit flat and seam the Cowl up at the end, or to work it in the round.
I recommend working the Cowl on a circular needle, even if you are working in rows, as the yarn can get quite heavy. Using a circular needle helps to evenly distribute the weight and prevent RSI.
