This pattern is also available as part of my new e-book Espiral: a progressive Eco-friendly e-book with 5 original shawl designs + 1 bonus pattern (also a shawl design).

Zig-Zag is an asymmetrical shawl knitted on the bias in one piece. It has a cool spiral shape and an architectural look.
It’s worked in “true” lace with increases and decreases on both sides, nevertheless, the zig-zag pattern is fairly simple and fun, providing a distinctive unisex character.

This modular and flexible pattern allows you to use the yarn of your choice and when you’re pleased with shawl’s size just work the picot bind-off. As shown used 335m (366.4 yds) of Dona Maria hand spun fingering weight yarn.
