Zig Zag Wristers
by Sarah Zee
This pattern is
available for free.
- Wristers are worked back and forth in rows in a ripple pattern and then seamed. The ripple pattern is easy to do, but its important to remember that you may need to work several rows before the ripple pattern becomes clear.
- The ripple in this design is created by skipping 2 sts to form ‘valleys’ and working 3 sc all in one st to form ‘peaks’. In each row, take care to work the 3 sc in center sc of each ‘peak’ and skip the 2 sts in the center of each ‘valley’.
- To change color, work last st of old color to last yarn over. Yarn over with new color and draw through all loops to complete st. Do not fasten off old color, just carry unused color up along side of piece until next needed.
