#This pattern is CUFF-DOWN. The TOE-UP pattern is HERE.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Zigg is a cuff-down sock pattern that was designed specifically for beginners, but is interesting enough to keep experienced knitters engaged, using a simple diamond stitch pattern that is created by texture. This is a fun design that becomes quite memorable and makes for an enjoyable, quick knit. I think this pattern is better suited for a solid, tonal, or very subtle variegated yarn as to show off the texture design.
The pattern is written for DPNs referring to Needles 1-4. You can accommodate it for Magic Loop or 2 circulars.
NOTIONS: Stitch marker to mark the beginning of the round, A tapestry needle for weaving ends.
PATTERN STYLE: The pattern contains written as well as chart instructions. There is a key and full abbreviation list included as well.
DIFFICULTY: Advanced Beginner. Sock construction.
YARN: This pattern was designed to show off the beautiful colors in variegated yarn. Certainly solid or lightly tonal yarn would show excellent stitch definition.
