Zinzi the Lady Buglar
Zinzi the Lady Buglar - don’t let her petite frame fool you, she is mischievous!
Difficulty: Intermediate, US terminology
Materials: 
 2.5mm hook/C-2 (US) 
 4ply yarn/fingering 
 50g yarn in BLACK 
 Less than 50g yarn in RED and CREAM 
 Scissors 
 Tapestry needle 
 Polyester toy stuffing 
 Stitch marker
Abbreviations: 
 MR = magic ring 
 ch = chain 
 sc = single crochet 
 inc = single crochet increase (2 sc in one stitch) 
 dec = decrease (sc 2 together) 
 sl st = slip stitch 
 BLO = back loops only 
 (..) = repeat the space in brackets the given number of times 
 .. = total number of stitches
Notes: 
 A yarn with no stretch is best for amigurumi, I ordinarily use cotton or cotton blend. 
 Amigurumi is usually stitched in the round (unless it says otherwise). 
 For this pattern, the following yarns were used: 
o NUDE = Bendigo Woollen Mills 4ply cotton in “816 Parchment” 
o BLACK = Bendigo Woollen Mills 4ply cotton in “Noir” (discontinued) 
o RED = Bendigo Woollen Mills 4ply cotton in “819 Pomegranate” 
 I crochet loosely and use a 2.5mm hook with 4ply yarn. Generally, the hook you use for amigurumi will be a smaller than for other crochet as you want the stitches tight to keep stuffing from showing and for any attachments to stay in place. 
 The yarn thickness and hook size used will affect the size of the finished item. My Zinzi the Lady Buglar is approximately 22cm tall (8 ½ inches). 
 I have used embroidered the eyes for this pattern but you may choose to use safety eyes. Please ensure that there are no loose fittings.
